Single-player and CPU evidence
The official listing identifies single-player. A July 2025 patch specifically fixes CPU Washington’s bite behavior, and later players discuss CPU difficulty. Those are stronger evidence of AI matches than a player merely asking how to select CPU.
These sources do not supply a verified complete mode tree or a universal menu-by-menu CPU-selection procedure. This is a mode-status page, not a claim that a specific arcade or survival mode has been tested.
A story plan is not a released campaign
The Early Access text says the team plans to add a single-player story mode. No matching reviewed announcement confirms that campaign shipped. Fictional fighter biographies and in-match dialogue are not evidence of a finished campaign or its duration.
The store’s older four-character sentence has been overtaken by later roster announcements. Use the update timeline for content status rather than interpreting every old description as the current executable.

Single-player does not resolve offline access
The reviewed sources do not independently establish the offline-launch conditions for the installed game, Steam account or browser prototype. Single-player and “can run without a connection” are different statements. No online-only requirement is inferred from that unknown either.
For an initial local session, the first-match guide explains the version and input decisions. For playing with a friend, use the separate native-online route.
